BARGE HIRE
Our state-of-the-art platform barge is 4m in width, 10m in length and is sophisticatedly engineered to cater for a variety of challenging marine-based works. It is self propelled with 2 x 135 HP Honda motors. With full stability charts, it has 16-tonne capability is fully compliant in accordance to Sections 2D and 2E Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
Architecturally designed and marine engineered to the best standards, this motorised barge draws only 300mm of water unoccupied and can draw up to 900mm of water when occupied with 16 tonne of weight. This makes it a sustainable and eco-friendly option for marine-based works, ensuring minimal wash and erosion to banks and waterways. It allows excellent proximity and accessibility in hard-to-reach and shallow waterways and canals.
Dry or wet hire the barge and use our 5.5t Komatsu excavator to make all canal maintenance and marine based demolitions and renovations easy and effective. Our experienced excavator operator has more than 25 years’ experience, most of which has been in bridge and overwater demolition. We also have highly experienced dive teams which draw on more than a decades’ experience in underwater salvage and marine maintenance.
